02 — About

A designer who goes underwater for research.

I am a Science Communication Designer currently based between London, Australia, and Beijing. With a background in Illustration (UAL) and Biology (RMIT), and extensive fieldwork experience, I bridge the gap between scientific data and public engagement.

I leverage Web GIS front-end design and scientific illustration to make complex ecological narratives visible and impactful. When not at my desk, I am likely underwater or in the field — as a certified scuba diver and freediver, I am deeply invested in marine biology and avian ecology.

Recent work includes the 2025 Kentish Plover breeding monitoring project led by Sun Yat-sen University, and ongoing intertidal biodiversity surveys in coastal Australia.
